  16. There are many networking glossaries in existence.  This glossary
  17. concentrates on terms which are specific to the Internet.  Naturally,
  18. there are entries for some basic terms and acronyms because other
  19. entries refer to them.  This document is the work of the User Glossary
  20. Working Group of the User Services Area of the Internet Engineering
  21. Task Force (IETF).

  23. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  It does
  24. not specify an Internet standard.  Distribution of this memo is
  25. unlimited.

  27. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
  28. Requests to be added to or deleted from the IETF distribution list
  29. should be sent to IETF-REQUEST@CNRI.RESTON.VA.US.  Requests to be added
  30. to or deleted from the RFC-DIST distribution list should be sent to
  31. RFC-REQUEST@NIC.DDN.MIL.
